John Pring

John Pring is a poet and author based in the United Kingdom. His poetic works have been featured in Poetics, Santa Clara Review, B O D Y, The Passionfruit Review, Oroboro, Meniscus, The Talon Review, Novus Literary, Dolorem Ipsum, Rising Phoenix Review, and others. He is currently working on a full collection of poems.
John is the author of Visualizing The Beatles, released by Harper Collins in 2018. The book has subsequently had releases in the UK, Brazil, Germany, and Spain. It has been featured in The Guardian, The BBC, Sirius XM, Entertainment Weekly, Gizmodo, The Washington Post, The New York Journal of Books, The Huffington Post, The Houston Press, and scores of others.

He also publishes poetry under the pseudonym Blake Auden, growing a following of over 300,000 fans on social media. Under this moniker, he has published six collections of poetry, is the winner of the Letter Review Prize for Poetry and the Button Short Form Prize, was the judge for the 2023 MONO Poetry Prize and has work published in Qu Literary, The Tomahawk Creek Review, The Banyan Review, The Write Launch, Half & One, Cathexis Northwest Press, and others. Blake Auden has been featured in Forbes, Metro, The Bookseller, The Economic Times, Sussex Life, Coast Magazine, Pick Me Up, Authority Magazine, AOL, Book Riot, The Argus, Sorted Magazine, and scores of others. He is also the patron of mental health charity The New Normal.
John is also an academic, tutor and speaker, and has given talks and seminars at the University of Suffolk, the Brighton Institute of Modern Music, Hereford College of Arts, Sharjah Book Fair and others. He recently completed an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Sussex, and is currently undertaking a Master of Fine Arts degree.
